Task description: This week was the annual Maniakalani Film Festival! We were lucky enough to see our classes movie on the big screen at Hoyts. This week for our writing task we were able to watch some of the Manaiakalani Film Festival movies and create positive, thoughtful and helpful comments on the class blog of the movies. Division
Task description: This week we have been learning that sharing equally is the same as division. For this task we had to share the biscuits in the problems equally between the number of people in the problem. We had to duplicate the biscuits for each friend and then write a multiplication equation and a division equation about each problem. Please check out my task!
School Camp Fun
Task Description: This week for reading we have been learning all about camp and what its like to sleep in tent. We have been learning to make connections with what we already know and what we are reading. School Camp Fun is an article about a girl named Siobhan who was going on a school camp. For this task we had to make connections with our own camping experiences and the experiences that Siobhan had at her school camp.
